Privacy Policy

PES Arena ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Flutter-based mobile application for football and esports communities, developed by an independent developer. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Offline Mode — Local Data Storage

In Offline Mode, all tournament data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. No internet connection is required and no data is sent to our servers.

• Tournament names, player names, match scores, and standings remain on your device
• No account or personal information is required
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all offline data

2. Online Mode — Account & Firebase

Online Mode requires an account. You may sign in with email/password or Google Sign-In. When you use Online Mode, the following data is stored on Firebase (Google):

• Your display name, profile photo (if uploaded), and user ID
• Groups you create or join, including member lists and tournament data
• Match results, standings, and player statistics within online tournaments
• Group chat messages sent within the app

This data is stored in Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage and is governed by Google's privacy policy. We use Firebase Auth to manage sign-in securely.

3. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications about tournament updates and group activity. A device token is registered with FCM when you enable notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings.

4. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. Our analytics are privacy-safe:

• No personally identifiable information (PII) is ever sent to analytics
• We track general usage patterns: feature usage, screen views, and app events
• Tournament names, player names, and chat messages are never sent to analytics

5. Advertising

The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data for ad personalization based on your device and usage. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details on how AdMob handles data.

6. Photo & Media Access

The app may request access to your photo library to allow you to upload a profile avatar. Photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose to select one and are uploaded to Firebase Storage. We do not access your camera roll for any other purpose.

7. Third-Party Services

PES Arena integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Auth (Google) — secure user authentication
• Firebase Firestore (Google) — real-time database for online features
• Firebase Storage (Google) — profile image and media storage
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications
• Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics
• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob — in-app advertising
• Google Sign-In — optional OAuth authentication

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete it at any time by:

• Uninstalling the app (removes all offline data)
• Going to Profile > Settings > Delete Account in the app to permanently delete your online account and all associated data from our Firebase servers
• Emailing us at taipv.swe@gmail.com to request manual data deletion

9. Children's Privacy

PES Arena is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
